Class Provision Mapping
This fully adaptable word document allows you to bring all the information into one place.
Page 1 gives a quick overview of the needs of the class and a space to record any diagnosis (children may be in more than one box).
It also allows you to record information such a PP, LAC, EAL.
Page 2 looks at the provision you put in place within the classroom (ordinarily available) - this may look different in every school and the fully adaptable boxes allow for schools to add/remove easily.
There is also a section to record the physical resources a child may need to help them access the curriculum such as ear defenders, wobble cushions and assistive technology. Again this is all classed as reasonable adjustments and comes under ordinarily available provision.
Page 3 allows class teachers to track the interventions and support that is in class. This allows you to build up a profile of the support that is needed (any training that might need putting in as a whole school approach) and build up a profile of a child and their school journey.
Page 4 is access arrangements, this is where we build up the evidence needed for year 6 SATs and enables us to see where support is needed and what needs to be applied for.
